The Javea International Festival cultural association is organizing its fourth flea market (vide-grenier) on Sunday, 18th March.
The stalls dedicated to second-hand articles will start setting up at 9 am on Avenida de la Libertad (near the Marmara shopping area) and will remain open until 5.00 pm. Those interested in reserving a stall should pre-register and pay a 10-Euro subscription fee (only 1 Euro for children under 10). To register please contact Dominique Bouvard (619 82 66 85) or Mireille Rebillard (620 39 51 55).
Representatives from the association would like to encourage all those interested to take this opportunity to try to sell all the old objects they no longer use and just take up space in cupboards or storage rooms. Furthermore, the flea market is also an excellent opportunity for shoppers who are looking for interesting and useful articles at great prices.
This cultural group, which brings together representatives from dozens of nationalities living in Javea, started this activity in 2008 at the initiative of the French sector of the association, since these flea markets are a typical tradition in the Gallic country. Since then, this flea market has served to raise funds for the large festival they organise in early summer.
